Italo Vignoli is a communication consultant with over thirty years of experience in marketing high technologies, in Italy and at international level. He is a member of Ferpi, the Italian Federation of PR Professionals, and has held courses in advanced technology marketing, public speaking and public relations in universities and post-graduate courses. He is a journalist.
He began his career at Honeywell’s Printer Division, where he reached the Global Marketing Director role. Since 1987 he has worked as a communications consultant in international PR agencies such as Shandwick, Burson Marsteller and Manning Selvage & Lee. In 1992 he founded Qwerty PR, which he managed until 1998. From 1999 to 2003 he was Senior Vice President of Fleishman-Hillard, where he coordinated all the hi-tech PR activities in Italy and participated in several international projects. Since 2004, he has focused on Hideas.
For over thirty years, he has worked for companies such as 3Com, Adobe, Agfa, Ambra (IBM), Anixter, APC, Apple, Avnet, Borland, Bull, Collabora, Compaq, Corel, Dell, Emerson Network Power, Extreme Networks, GE Calma, Hayes, IBM Networking, Intel, Intergraph, Labtec, LibreOffice, Logitech, Macromedia, Mediavision, Metro Ethernet Forum, Microtek, Motorola, Nortel, Novell, OpenOffice, PowerQuest, Pydio, QMS, Radius, Rollei, Sierra Wireless, Sun, Symbol Technologies, Tech Data , Tektronix, Texas Instruments, Tibco, TippingPoint, US Robotics, Verifone, Vidyo and Wacom.
Italo Vignoli holds a degree in Literature from the State University of Milan, and master degrees in marketing, PR and journalism at Universities and Higher Education Schools in Italy and the United States.
